Students wanting to travel the classical route will find themselves studying with highly trained and experienced teachers. Instructors with degrees from prestigious universities like the University of Indiana, the Peabody Institute, our own local University of British Columbia etc. are able to take students to the top levels of practical and theoretical RCM exams, competitions, and university audition preparation. Many students have gone on to UBC and other universities around the world to further their music education and to become music professionals.

If you are looking for ensemble opportunities in Rock, Pop, and Jazz, we have programs for voice, keyboard, guitar, drum, brass and woodwind students to experience the dynamics of playing in a group. The teamwork and dedication are always a pleasure to see at our bi-annual recitals. Students learn invaluable skills like stage presence, self-confidence, and discipline. There is a number who have gone on to great success touring and performing in North American bands like the Devin Townsend Project.
